Central Education Minister Mr. Pralhad Joshi formally inaugurates the new academic building of the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIIEPA) today.

The new academic building of the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIIEPA) was formally inaugurated today by Central Education Minister Mr. Pralhad Joshi. The building, which is equipped with modern academic facilities, was constructed with the aim of further strengthening the institute's teaching, research and training capabilities. Senior officials from the Ministry of Education, academic researchers and prominent local education personalities were present at the inauguration ceremony. Minister Joshi said in his speech that improving infrastructure in the field of education is one of the government's priorities and that NIIEPA's new building is an important step in that direction.

NIIEPA, established in 2018 under the Ministry of Education, has the primary objective of formulating, implementing and evaluating educational plans at the national level. The institution has played a significant role in coordinating educational programmes across various states and has launched several innovative initiatives to enhance teaching quality. The new building includes advanced laboratories, digital learning rooms, research centres and guest rooms, providing students and researchers with world‑class resources.

During the inauguration, Minister Joshi explained that this project is a major investment under the government's "Investment in Education" framework, aimed at creating a comprehensive and inspiring environment for teaching. He also mentioned that the new campus will not only serve academic activities but will also provide a platform for international collaboration and exchange programmes. At the end of the ceremony, the director of NIIEPA highlighted the institute's future goals and plans, emphasizing the prioritisation of digital education, rural education and teacher training. This inauguration clearly demonstrates the government's determination to strengthen infrastructure in the education sector and promote innovation.
