The closing ceremony of the Chhattisgarh State Festival held at the National Sports Complex in Raipur was addressed today by Central Home and Co‑operation Minister Amit Shah. The two‑week festival showcased a wide array of the state's cultural heritage, folk art, music, and dance, with participation from local artists as well as representatives from various states. In the ceremony, the minister said that Chhattisgarh's rich culture and natural resources are making significant contributions to the nation's overall progress, and the central government is committed to taking collaborative steps in this direction.

Amit Shah outlined the key aspects of the state's socio‑economic development. He said that the central government has implemented several schemes in Chhattisgarh for security, rural development, and strengthening cooperative institutions, which include special provisions for women's empowerment, youth entrepreneurship, and agricultural reforms. He also mentioned that in the coming years, water resource management, expansion of infrastructure, and digital literacy will be prioritized, thereby accelerating the state's economic momentum and social inclusiveness.

At the end of the ceremony, the minister thanked the state's Chief Minister and local officials and said that a collaborative partnership between the center and the state will take Chhattisgarh's development to new heights. He expressed appreciation to all the artists and audience present for their contributions and called for encouraging national unity and diversity through such cultural platforms in the future.
