IndiaAI Mission Launches Collaboration Program with AIKosh University to Strengthen India's AI Talent Ecosystem

India AI Mission launched the AIKosh University participation program in partnership with Andhra Pradesh’s National Institute of Technology (NIT). This program is considered a significant step to strengthen India’s AI talent ecosystem. AIKosh University, a pioneer in AI education and research, has proposed to familiarize students and researchers with the latest AI technologies through its classes, workshops, and research projects.

Under the program, NIT students will have the opportunity to work on experimental projects together with AIKosh’s senior faculty and industry experts. In addition, both institutions have launched a joint research initiative aimed at developing AI‑based solutions for India’s specific challenges—such as agriculture, healthcare, and urban planning. The program also includes AI coding bootcamps, panel discussions, and AI competitions, which will enhance participants’ practical skills.

This collaboration is expected to accelerate the pace of innovation in India’s AI sector. The head of the India AI Mission said, “Our goal is to make India a global leader in AI.” The joint initiative of AIKosh University and NIT will not only increase the exchange of knowledge at the academic level, but also create a strong bridge between industry and the academic world. This step could prove to be a decisive milestone in India’s digital transformation.
