During the official session held at the 14th International Tourism Mart, regional tourism ministers discussed new policies, cooperation plans, and sustainable tourism development, clarifying the goal of promoting coordination and innovation in the country's tourism sector.

A meeting of regional tourism ministers was held during the official session of the 14th International Tourism Mart, which was a key component of this year's major tourism programme. The session was convened at the capital's premier conference centre, where tourism ministers from various states as well as delegations from abroad were present. The main objective of the meeting was to strengthen the coordination of tourism policies at the national level and to develop a shared framework for sustainable tourism development.

During the session, the ministers emphasized the need to maintain a balance between digital transformation in the tourism sector, infrastructure development, and environmental conservation. In particular, they reached consensus on a joint initiative to promote rural tourism and the preservation of cultural heritage. The ministers also acknowledged that the exchange and analysis of tourism data at the regional level would aid in measuring the impact of new policies. Additionally, working groups will be established to devise a transparent investment framework for foreign investors, which will attract foreign investment while also promoting local job creation.

As a result of this meeting, a comprehensive action plan has been prepared, which will be implemented in the coming months. Under this plan, each state will be encouraged to adopt an integrated strategy while recognizing its unique tourism capabilities. The official session of the 14th International Tourism Mart not only strengthened the coordination of the national tourism policy but also paved the way for enhancing India's tourism image on the international stage.
