In preparation for the BRICS summit, the Prime Minister highlighted the need for international cooperation through an ancient Sanskrit maxim and reminded all participants of the importance of positive and meaningful dialogue.

Before the arrival of the BRICS summit, the Prime Minister shared an ancient Sanskrit maxim—“Satyamev Jayate Naanritam”—at a special ceremony organized at the national level. He presented this maxim as a fundamental principle of international cooperation and dialogue, emphasizing that truth and honesty are the foundation of lasting partnerships. On this occasion, he said that the nature of dialogue among the world’s leading emerging economies should not be merely formal, but deep, positive, and meaningful, so that the goal of shared development can be realized.

The Prime Minister also highlighted that India’s cultural heritage, especially Sanskrit, can serve as a bridge in global dialogue. He explained that cooperation with BRICS countries should focus not only on economic and technological aspects, but also on cultural understanding and humanitarian values. In this context, he called on all member nations to respect each other’s diversity, strengthen mutual trust, and resolve disputes through peaceful negotiations.

The summit will discuss several key agenda items such as trade, energy, the digital economy, and sustainable development. The Prime Minister described this platform as “a source of positive dialogue for world peace and prosperity,” and urged all delegates to use this opportunity to deepen mutual understanding, accelerate collaborative projects, and seek collective solutions to global challenges. His message was clear: meaningful conversation is the key to future stability and inclusive development.
