The President, on this auspicious occasion, extended his best wishes to all devotees and underscored the importance of Indian culture and social unity.

The President of India extended heartfelt wishes to all devotees on the auspicious occasion of this year's Durga Puja. In an official message released by the President’s Office, he said that worshipping the seven forms of Mother Durga not only strengthens religious sentiment but also ignites a sense of social harmony and national unity. The message also noted that in India’s multicultural heritage, Goddess Durga holds a special place, regarded as a symbol of power, courage, and justice. The President requested all Indians to celebrate this sacred occasion with peace, goodwill, and patriotism, and to resolve to work together against social inequalities.

During Durga Puja, various state governments and local bodies also organized grand celebrations, including cultural programs, parades, and coordination of social services. The President’s message has generated a positive response among different sections of the country. Many social organizations announced new initiatives for women’s empowerment and rural development on this occasion, underscoring the national leadership’s strengthened commitment to linking religious festivals with social progress.

The President also said that the power inherent in India’s diversity makes it a major force on the global stage. He called upon all secular and religious organizations to come together to celebrate this festival with peace and prosperity. With this auspicious message, the President reminded the Indian people that only the courage and resilience embodied in Mother Durga’s power can confront national challenges, and this sentiment should guide forthcoming economic and social reforms.
