AP Local Body Elections 2026: Petition to postpone local body elections in High Court!

Legal debate has begun again over the conduct of local body elections in Andhra Pradesh.
A public interest litigation (PIL) has been filed in the AP High Court alleging that the High Court is violating its previous orders in the implementation of BC reservations.
Challenging the government orders (GOs) issued by the Panchayat Raj and Municipal departments concerning reservations, Chebrolo Ravikumar filed this petition.
Today the AP High Court will hear this PIL.
Interest has arisen regarding what orders the court will issue.
