In the “Nasha‑Mukt Yuva, Viksit Bharat” quiz organized by the Government of India, more than 16,517 participants from across the country took part, underscoring the importance of a drug‑free society and youth empowerment.

Under the joint initiative of the National Youth Ministry and the Health and Family Welfare Department, the “Drug‑Free Youth, Developed India” quiz witnessed unprecedented participation this year.

Through an online platform and physical centers established in 12 major cities, more than 16,517 citizens participated in this multi‑round competition, which included questions related to drug prevention, youth development, educational opportunities, and social entrepreneurship.

The competition aimed to inspire youths to adopt a drug‑free lifestyle and raise awareness at the community level.

As a result of the quiz, many participants gained detailed information about the benefits of a drug‑free life and the availability of government schemes. Experts noted that such a national‑level initiative can not only disseminate drug‑prevention messages to a wider audience but also encourage social responsibility and leadership skills among the youth.

The government also announced plans to continue the program annually and provide participants with training and self‑employment opportunities.

Overall, the “Drug‑Free Youth, Developed India” quiz succeeded in uniting citizens across the country, strengthening collective commitment to drug prevention, and motivating the youth to play an active role in nation‑building. The initiative is seen as a significant step toward building a drug‑free and empowered youth cohort to realize India’s development goals.
