Prime Minister Congratulates Indian Athlete Parul Chaudhary on Winning Bronze in Women’s 5000m at Asian Games

Prime Minister said that Parul’s achievement has not only injected new energy into Indian athletics but has also empowered women’s participation in the nation’s sports. He called this victory “the result of determination and hard work” and honored Parul as a “source of pride for the nation.” On this occasion, the Prime Minister also highlighted the need for increased investment in athletics, better training facilities, and international‑level coaching programmes.

The significance of Parul’s win is notable in several aspects. Sports experts also praised Parul’s achievement, saying that such success serves as a source of inspiration for young athletes and boosts India’s competitiveness on Asia’s grand stage. Thus, the Prime Minister’s public congratulations not only highlighted Parul’s personal accomplishment but also provided a positive signal for the broader development of Indian sports.
