The Prime Minister, on the establishment day of the India‑Tibet Border Police, praised their sacrifice and dedication, sent a congratulatory message, and reaffirmed the resolve to strengthen their relentless service for national security.

India‑Tibet Border Police (ITBP) Celebrates Its Founding Day with Enthusiasm; Prime Minister Extends Special Congratulations to Soldiers.

He said that ITBP's contribution to India's border security is unwavering and steadfast, praising the personnel's bravery, discipline, and commitment, and stating that they are pillars of national security. He thanked all ITBP personnel for their dedication and sacrifice, assuring that the government will continue to strive for their welfare, training, and provision of modern equipment.

Since its establishment, the force has played a vital role along the India‑Tibet border and in various national disaster management efforts. Operating in harsh terrain, high altitudes, and extreme cold, this force has not only contributed to border security but also led efforts to address climate change and natural disasters. Recently, ITBP successfully maintained diplomatic neutrality in several high‑risk areas in cooperation with the Mountain Army and provided relief to civilians. The government has announced plans to incorporate new technologies into their training, including high‑capability drones and precise surveillance systems, to ensure more effective border management in the future.

The Prime Minister appealed to all ITBP personnel to continue performing their duties with fidelity and courage, and to further strengthen their contribution to national security. He also stated that the government would take special measures for their families in the areas of social security, healthcare, and education, thereby improving their standard of living. This message infused new energy into the ITBP soldiers and reinforced their dedication to national security.
