The workshop’s primary focus will be on sustainable deep‑sea fishing techniques, biodiversity conservation, and improving the existing regulatory framework. In addition, it will discuss strategies to simplify the access‑pass process and enable small and medium‑scale fishers to enter the sector.

An expert panel will guide participants on setting targets based on the biological characteristics of major species prevalent in deep sea, seasonal trends, and market demand.
