The National Higher Education Department has successfully reviewed 95 % of physical files and 87.5 % of e‑files under the recently launched “Special Campaign 5.0.” This initiative was launched to address documentation gaps identified in previous years, standardize the financial and administrative processes of educational institutions, and strengthen regulatory compliance. Under the campaign, all universities, colleges, and research institutions were instructed to submit their academic, financial, and human‑resources documents in accordance with the prescribed standards. The review process examined the authenticity, completeness, and currency of physical files, as well as the digital security, encryption, and data integrity of e‑files.

As a result of the review, the department has issued commendation letters to several institutions whose files were found to be fully compliant with the standards. At the same time, some institutions received corrective notices highlighting the need to address incomplete documents, inconsistent data entry, and deficiencies in security protocols. The department stated that this campaign will increase accountability among educational institutions and boost confidence among students and stakeholders. The next steps include reviewing the remaining 13 % of e‑files and establishing a regular audit system in the future to make the higher‑education system more transparent and efficient.
