The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has issued a detailed factual report refuting the claims of a report published in Central Chronicle (Bhopal), clarifying the actual status of government schemes.

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has recently issued an official factual report addressing several claims raised in a report published in the Central Chronicle (Bhopal). The report stated that there are financial irregularities and errors in beneficiary identification in some welfare schemes run by the ministry. Taking these allegations seriously, the ministry clarified through its official documentation that all major schemes—such as social security schemes for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and persons with disabilities—are being implemented correctly and that strict standards of financial transparency are being adhered to. The factual report incorporated data from various government portals, annual financial statements, and independent audit reports, demonstrating that a large portion of the funds distributed under these schemes in the previous fiscal year has reached the intended beneficiaries.

The ministry also noted that some figures mentioned in the report were based on outdated or incomplete information, which caused confusion in public perception. In this regard, the ministry proposed strengthening the digital tracking system to provide more accurate data in the future, increasing collaboration with independent monitoring bodies, and holding regular review meetings with local administrations. Experts in social justice and empowerment praised this step, saying that factual clarification not only prevents misinformation but also enhances the credibility of government schemes. Opposition parties still question several points.
