The Prime Minister recalled Bapu’s eternal message by participating in the prayer gathering held in Gandhi’s memory, emphasizing that truth, non‑violence, and social harmony remain guiding principles for the nation even today.

The Prime Minister participated today in a prayer gathering organized in memory of Gandhi, which was attended by the nation’s leading politicians, social workers, and ordinary citizens. The event was held to honor India’s freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi, where everyone present reaffirmed his timeless message—truth, non‑violence, and harmony in society. In his address, the Prime Minister gave a brief recollection of Gandhi’s life and work and stated that, even amid today’s complex social, economic, and global challenges, adhering to Gandhi’s principles remains essential.

During the gathering, the Prime Minister highlighted the concept of “Satyagraha” promoted by Gandhi, saying that it can be applied not only to political struggles but also to everyday life challenges. He also noted that Gandhi’s non‑violent approach serves as an effective guide for finding peaceful solutions to conflicts even in the digital age. At the conclusion of the program, everyone joined in a solemn prayer wishing for Gandhi’s peace and unity. This prayer assembly made clear that Gandhi’s message continues to shape the values and policy direction of Indian society.
