The All India Ayurveda Institute organized a comprehensive program to celebrate the 11th Ayurveda Day 2026, which included a public awareness rally, an academic seminar, and the launch of a new book. During the rally, educational booths were set up to raise awareness about the fundamental principles of Ayurveda and its contributions to modern medicine; health check-ups were conducted and an exhibition of Ayurvedic products was displayed. This initiative made clear the effort to broaden societal acceptance of Ayurveda and increase awareness of its practical use.

The seminar was attended by leading researchers, practitioners, and policymakers in Ayurveda. The chief guest, Ayurveda Minister Karambir Singh, delivered a speech highlighting the global significance of Ayurveda and its role in national health policy. During the seminar, discussions covered Ayurvedic disease management, the development of new drugs, and the standardization of Ayurveda education, providing a platform for researchers and educators.

The newly published book “Ayurveda: Support for Contemporary Medicine” was launched at the conclusion of the program. The book offers a detailed description of Ayurvedic principles along with their modern applications. Author Dr. Anil Kumar explained that the book attempts to link traditional Ayurvedic knowledge with a scientific perspective. At the end of the event, all participants were given Ayurvedic health tips and gift packs, further boosting enthusiasm for Ayurveda.
