Central Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandavia addressed all members present at the regular meeting of the Hindi Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports today. In his speech, he said that making Hindi the primary medium is essential to strengthen sports and youth development at the national level, which will not only promote sports culture in rural and urban areas but also reinforce social inclusiveness through the language. The minister noted that the ministry has launched several initiatives in recent years, including the identification of sporting talents at the national level, the expansion of sports facilities at the school level, and special grant programmes for young entrepreneurs. He added that detailed policy documents, training materials, and promotional content are being prepared in Hindi to make information equally available to all stakeholders.

The committee members discussed various proposals in the meeting, including the introduction of training modules in Hindi at the National Sports Academy, the establishment of a sports‑based start‑up incubation centre to encourage youth entrepreneurship, and the allocation of a special budget for the construction of sports facilities in rural areas. The committee approved these proposals and instructed the preparation of a framework for implementation in the next phase. Dr. Mandavia thanked all members for their cooperation and said that the ministry will remain committed to strengthening Hindi as an official language while implementing transparent and inclusive policies in the fields of sports and youth development.
