Central Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal inaugurated the Commerce and Industry Building in Jaipur.

Central Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal attended today the inauguration ceremony of the Commerce and Industry Building in Jaipur and highlighted the importance of this project. Both buildings, which are located in the same complex, have been constructed with the purpose of providing an integrated platform for the implementation of the national commerce policy, support to small and medium enterprises (SME), and export‑producing companies. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the state's Industry Minister, representatives of major trade associations of Rajasthan, and several industrialists, who described this initiative as a significant step for the state's economic development.

The Commerce Building houses a trade information centre, export assistance counseling, and dedicated facilities for a digital trade platform, enabling local entrepreneurs to receive the technical and regulatory support needed to compete in global markets. Meanwhile, the Industry Building includes a manufacturing cluster, research and development laboratories, and a start‑up incubation hub, which will operate in coordination with the “Make in India” and “Startup India” campaigns.

The ministers said on this occasion that Jaipur's new commerce and industry hub will not only strengthen Rajasthan's industrial landscape but also play a crucial role in accelerating the digitalisation of trade and industry at the national level. Under this project, the government has issued special incentive packages in the initial phase to attract several investors, with expectations of future job creation and export growth.
