To achieve water security, rural development, and empowerment at the village level, the government has announced a two‑month special campaign 6, in which work on water conservation and infrastructure improvement will be accelerated with the cooperation of DWR, RD, and GR.

Considering the decreasing availability of water resources and the lack of basic facilities in rural areas, the Water Resources Management Department (DOWR), Ministry of Rural Development (RD) and Gram Vikas.
