The National Ayurvedic Center has expanded the scope of Ayurvedic medicine by treating more than 37.74 lakh patients in the past decade, thereby significantly increasing the reach and reliability of Ayurvedic health services.

All India Ayurvedic Institute (AII) has set a new benchmark in the field of Ayurvedic medicine by treating more than 37.74 lakh patients during its first decade of operation. To achieve this milestone, the institute integrated traditional Ayurvedic principles with modern medical technology, thereby enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of diagnostic and therapeutic processes. The institute’s chief physician and researcher noted that during this period, the institute not only focused on patient care but also made significant contributions to Ayurvedic education, research, and public health programmes.

Over the years, the scope of Ayurvedic‑based services has expanded remarkably. The institute now offers services such as production of Ayurvedic medicines, registered Ayurvedic consultations, diagnostics and imaging, nutrition and lifestyle counselling, and a telemedicine platform. In particular, the telemedicine initiative has provided patients in rural and remote areas access to high‑quality Ayurvedic advice and treatment plans.

Moreover, AII has played an active role in incorporating Ayurvedic medicine under the National Health Policy. By partnering with government health schemes, the institute integrated Ayurvedic treatments into public health services, thereby increasing coverage and accessibility of Ayurvedic medicine. Thus, AII has strengthened the reliability and acceptance of Ayurvedic health services, and further innovation and expansion in this field is expected in the coming years.
