The Jamnagar-based Ayurvedic Institute ITRA convened researchers, physicians, and technology experts from across the country to hold a national symposium titled ‘Ayutech Navonmesh 2026’, aimed at strengthening the applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in Ayurvedic treatment.

Jamnagar Ayurvedic Institute (ITRA) organized a national seminar “Ayutec Innovation 2026” to explore the potential uses of artificial intelligence in Ayurveda. The forum brought together leading Ayurvedic universities, research institutes, start‑ups, and AI experts from across the country. Presentations and panel discussions covered topics such as AI‑based diagnostic tools, personalized medicine production, disease prediction models, and digital health record systems. Experts explained that AI could enable chemical analysis of Ayurvedic herbs, develop individualized treatment plans based on patients’ physical and mental profiles, and accelerate the pace of clinical trials.

The chief organizer of the seminar stated that this initiative is a strategic step toward integrating India’s ancient Ayurvedic tradition into a modern technological framework. With support from the central government’s digital health policy and various schemes to promote Ayurveda, research and development in this direction is gaining momentum. Based on proposals presented at the seminar, workshops and grant programs are also being planned to develop AI‑enabled Ayurvedic clinics, a national database, and certified software tools. Thus, “Ayutec Innovation 2026” has emerged as a pivotal platform for bringing Ayurvedic science into the digital age.
