The National Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department has completed the preparation of Special Campaign 6, which aims to connect small and medium‑scale farmers with modern technology, financial assistance, and market access.

**
The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying told in a press conference held at its headquarters today that the outline of the special campaign6 has been prepared and in this phase the implementation will be started actively in various districts of the country. The main objective of this campaign is to equip small and medium scale livestock and dairy farmers with high producing breeds, nutritious food, health care and modern management techniques. The department also said that this time special subsidy schemes, low-interest loans and insurance coverage will be provided for financial assistance, which will help farmers reduce risks.

In the last five campaigns, the Department had achieved significant progress in increasing access to animal health services in rural areas, improving milk quality and connecting producers to wholesale markets. Building on these successes, the special campaign6 will introduce real‑time data collection through digital platforms, technical advice through mobile applications and online training modules. Besides, priority will also be given to empowerment of women farmers, so that their income can increase and social status can be improved.

The head of the department said that there is a plan to benefit more than 10 thousand farmers under this campaign and for this, cooperation with state governments, local self-government institutions and the private sector will be strengthened. He also assured that the results of the campaign will be regularly monitored and policies will be amended as necessary, so as to achieve the goals of sustainable development and food security.
