The Speaker of Lok Sabha paid a deep tribute in today's session following the demise of former Speaker Mr. G.M.C. Balayogi. Mr. Balayogi, who had served as Speaker of Lok Sabha from 2014 to 2019, advanced several significant reforms to increase transparency and efficiency in parliamentary proceedings. During his tenure, he streamlined debates, encouraged dialogue between parties, and promoted the use of digital tools to modernize parliamentary functions.
