Central Home Minister Mr. J.P. Nadda evaluated the expansion of health services in Madhya Pradesh and the success of the public‑private partnership (PPP) model, providing new momentum for improving the state's health infrastructure.

Central Home Minister Mr. J. P. Nadda recently visited various health institutions in Madhya Pradesh and conducted a detailed review of the remarkable progress made in the health sector in the state. He said that in the past few years Madhya Pradesh has taken notable steps in primary health care, maternal‑child health and the expansion of the rural hospital network. In particular, the establishment of new health centres, the modernisation of existing hospitals and the introduction of tele‑medicine services have proven helpful in improving the state’s health outcomes. Nadda said these initiatives have increased health access in rural and remote areas, reducing patient travel distance and treatment costs.

At the same time, the minister praised the public‑private partnership (PPP) model as an effective tool that is helping rapid construction and operation of health infrastructure. He mentioned that many private hospitals and clinics have collaborated with the state government to successfully implement special health programmes such as cancer screening, diabetes management and vaccination campaigns. This collaboration has not only increased resource efficiency but also raised quality standards. Nadda advised the state government to further expand this model, apply it in more areas and measure results through continuous monitoring.

Looking ahead, Nadda emphasised digitalisation of health services, human‑resource development and financial stability. He said that coordinated efforts between the centre and the state, together with active participation of the private sector, will play a crucial role in achieving India’s health goals such as universal health coverage and disease prevention. After this review, the Madhya Pradesh government assured that it will prepare a detailed action plan to implement Nadda’s suggestions, ensuring continued progress in the state’s health sector.
