The Land Resources Department organized an award ceremony recognizing the contributions of cleaning staff under the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign.

The Land Resources Department honored cleaning staff today during a formal event held at its headquarters under the Swachhata Hi Seva initiative. The program was organized to recognize the tireless efforts of employees working in the field of cleanliness and to motivate them. The department head explained that the primary aim of this initiative is to ensure cleanliness in public spaces while also creating an environment of social recognition and respect for cleaning personnel.

During the ceremony, 25 cleaning staff were presented with awards and certificates of appreciation for their outstanding work. These employees have consistently contributed to the cleanliness of the department’s building premises, parking areas, and public facilities. Along with the awards, they were also given a modest financial assistance and a special facility for health check‑ups. The department’s vice‑president said, “Cleaning workers are invaluable contributors to society, and recognizing their hard work is our duty.” The employees expressed gratitude for this recognition and said it would motivate them to continue providing better service.

This step is being viewed as aligned with the “Swachhata Hi Seva” schemes running under the National Cleanliness Campaign. The government has recently implemented several policies to ensure better working conditions, training programs, and health safety for cleaning personnel. The Land Resources Department’s award ceremony serves as a positive example of these efforts, which will help raise awareness of cleanliness in society and strengthen the rights and respect of cleaning workers.
