My Bharat Launches “Developed India Youth Dialogue: Know Your Vote” Campaign

My Bharat has recently launched the “Developed India Youth Dialogue: Know Your Vote” campaign, aimed at raising awareness among young people about the importance of voting, the registration process, and the use of electronic voting machines (EVMs). Under this initiative, more than 11,800 young participants are engaging through 60 workshops, interactive sessions, and a digital platform across 20 states and union territories. The campaign was designed to promote youth voter participation on an unprecedented scale in India, targeting both urban and rural areas equally.

The programs included detailed lectures by experts on the legal aspects of voting, linking voter IDs with Aadhaar identity documents, and security measures on election day. Additionally, young participants were given real‑world experience of operating EVMs through online simulations, helping them feel confident in the voting process. Representatives of My Bharat stated that this initiative aims to strengthen a sense of democratic responsibility among the youth while also hoping to increase voter turnout in upcoming elections.

Organized in collaboration with local administrations and the Election Commission, the campaign has also received support from various social organizations and educational institutions. In several states, youth groups volunteered to assist at polling stations, marking a positive step toward enhancing transparency and efficiency in the electoral process. Experts believe that if such initiatives continue consistently, they can reinforce India’s democratic system with youthful vigor, ensuring broader participation and representation in future elections.
