Senior leader Ram Ji announced the “Viksit Bharat” initiative, presenting a comprehensive plan to strengthen rural infrastructure, education, health, and digital literacy.

Based on adequate allocation of resources and active participation of local administration, Ji Ram Ji described the “Viksit Bharat” plan as a new milestone in India’s rural development. Under this initiative, the goal is to rapidly improve basic amenities such as roads, water supply, sanitation, and electricity over the next 5 years. Additionally, digital classrooms, modern laboratories, and teacher training programs will be implemented to elevate primary and secondary education levels. In the health sector, modernization of primary health centers, expansion of tele‑medicine services, and special initiatives for maternal‑child health are the key pillars of the plan.

This comprehensive development framework will be financed with a significant portion of the national budget, most of which has been raised in collaboration with central and state governments. An independent body has been established to monitor the plan and will submit progress reports periodically. Experts believe that if local communities are actively involved in decision‑making, the “Viksit Bharat” plan could prove effective in reducing rural disparities and promoting sustainable economic growth. Opposition parties and several social organizations, while praising the plan’s breadth, have demanded transparency in implementation and assurance of access to beneficiaries. Successful implementation of this initiative could position India as a model of inclusive development on the global stage.
